#loveyourselfie – Capturing The Real You with #OPPOF1s and be a #SelfieExpert for God

We all have our own insecurities in life as we look upon world’s idea of perfection. We have looked down ourselves many times. We have been ridiculed and bullied at some points of our lives. We tried to escape reality as we dreamed to be somebody else. But let us try to capture our real selves in the lens of faith. Take a selfie with me today!

Selfie has paved a wide scale of viewers in our time. By Google’s definition, it is a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media. People were hooked to a photo of themselves. But do we really capture our real photographic features?

Let me take you through a short and life changing way of taking a selfie…

Selfies when office tasks are accomplished!

Appreciate yourself when you take a selfie.

Many of us do not see the beauty that God has created in and through us. We all have individual beauty. It is a unique glam. It is not just a trend but a brand of our selves. We need to see God’s image in us as presented in the Bible even if people around us cannot accept or recognize our essence in the grand scheme of art and life. We have to break through fear and doubts.

Genesis 1:26 (NIV)

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…”

If God said it, then it settles everything. Let us pursue Him and His image as we let go of every label people has glued on our face.

Capture your best angles.

Of course, we all have unpleasant curves and sides. But why should we magnify and enlarge those areas? Why not discover our best fit? We all have potentials. God has gifted us in such a way that we are equipped with all that. God has deposited treasures in our earthen vessels. So as we find our best angle, let us be at peace that we have potentials in our lifetime. Discover them and get yourself a nice self shot believing for a purposeful life!

2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV)

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Relaxing while enjoying a foot nail service on a blessed Sunday…

Turn your glitch to glamour.

Know this today that what we thought as a flaw is actually our unique beauty. People as we are, we tend to seek what belongs to others and how they look and project themselves. We are always seeking what is lacking from us that most of the time, we overlooked what we already have all the while. Our life’s journey should not be defined by the absence of some things. But we should live life in discovering what is already in us. Discover what we have and start from there towards the fulfillment of our life’s destiny.

Psalm 139:14 (NIV)

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.

Ready for Sunday Worship-min
Ready to enjoy a worshipful Sunday!

Make no mistake about this! We are wonderfully created by God. His wonders in us are embodied in our individuality and unique abilities. These consist our identity that no man can duplicate!

Start today with redefined selfies…

Now, we can all start a new set of selfies. But this time, it will be meaningful and refined!

Prepare your smartphones like #OPPOF1s with its great features on its camera having 13 MP primary camera (operates with phase detection autofocus and LED flash) and 8MP front camera in 1/4″ sensor size that would add value to your selfie.

Focus the lenses. Tap the button and tada!!!

Be a #SelfieExpert for God- Shutter captures the real you!

IHOP invites you to Iloilo Provincial Capitol Worship Service

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. – 2 Timothy 2:1-2 (NKJV)

As we are all in a shifting season even in the government, let us unite and pray for our leaders. Let us become the voice of God in there offices. Let us manifest the wisdom and revelation of God in their governance. Let us recognize God’s hand over our leaders.

And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
– Daniel 2:21 (NKJV)

Join us this July 13, 2016 – Wednesday, 5:00-7:00 PM at Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Conference Room 5th Floor as we are going to speak life and protection over our province and its leaders!

How’s Dad’s Day Celebration?

It was simply a terrific celebration!

e1

We had our celebration 18th of June at a cozy and home-like atmosphere of Book Latte in Robinson’s Place Iloilo. It is just across Mang Inasal. It is easy to find and accessible to almost all PUJs. It is one of the sprouting cafes in the city to meet the cravings of Ilonggos.

Book a remarkable experience!

IMG_20160618_1908451Book Latte
is also becoming a hub for book lovers who enjoy reading in their past time. They packed their place with books that carry the mind, memory and message of different authors. They even have books hanging from the ceiling!

I would love to see more Christian books in there!

With the owners and their staff, they had a warm accommodation to us from greetings to their service. Their smiles as they attend to our needs and wants were an imprint left to having a good time. They had a big contribution in making the celebration worth remembering.

Grab the grub!

IMG_20160618_1907081And hey! I am not forgetting their mouthwatering, luscious dishes. They serve from coffee and pastries to full meals. Of course, what can we say? It cost us a bit but it was all worth it. Sometimes, we have to spend much just to enjoy a worth while memory with loved ones.

Good thing we bought a coupon from Unlideals, the first and biggest online shopping website of Iloilo City. We saved almost 300.00 Php! What are you waiting for? Grab some deals now and enjoy Iloilo’s treasures in a lower cost!

He wants to eat more!

Kurt, my nephew, decided to voice out his sentiments and demanded to eat again at Book Latte! He really likes the buttered chicken and the flavorful waffles. He even had a photo taken while eating to convince his mom that indeed it was a must-try!

Let us wait and see when his mom gets to know this!

Never forget the celebrant. So here he is!

h1
He is a bit off when it comes to selfies and photo shoots. 🙂

You are never an orphan!

big hand and child handLet me exhort God’s word for a bit…

God said He is a father of the fatherless. (Psalm 68:5) Even in the parable of the prodigal son, he still has a father in spite of what he did. The father was patiently waiting for his son’s homecoming. It is because no matter what happens, he still is the father!

Every day is a Dad’s day with our Papa God! How is your celebration with Him?

What does our God do as He fathers us?

  • He defines our identity. (Genesis 1:26)
  • He provides our needs. (Philippians 4:19)
  • He protects our welfare. (Psalm 121)
  • He enjoys our company. (John 10:27)
  • He delights in blessing us. (Proverbs 10:22)
  • He loves us with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

God is waiting for the return of His beloved children…

Are you coming home?

But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. – Luke 15:20

NOTE:

This is also applicable to those who lost their mother. Remember, the Bible was written from the eyes of the Jewish culture, where family structure is patriarchal. Nonetheless, it is the parent figure that God is representing in Psalm 68.

So a motherless can still claim God’s promises!

ILOILO: Can you see the fruits of Prophecy?

This blog is to bring some reports on how the prophecy of Iloilo is being fulfilled. To those who have not heard the prophecy of Iloilo that had the pivotal shift of the city, read it here: Iloilo: Divine Awakening In The City.

The prophecy was given by God through Prophetess Eunice Bennett last March For Jesus 2012. It was almost a 9-minute prophecy with a lot of specific details that we can review whenever it manifest in the city.

Although some of the manifestations of fulfillment, like the APEC Summit, the Yolanda Miracle (for the city), the award winning movie entitled “ILOILO”, road constructions, Megaworld and other more were already reported during the Destiny Iloilo 2015 held at Hotel del Rio, I will share another report that is very close to where I am now. I saw this manifestation right before my senses. Let me first cite the portion of the prophecy that I am watching as it unfolds itself.

“…Anointed forerunners that are enterprising and possessing the brilliance of an entrepreneur- they are my marketplace apostles!…”
“…The entrepreneurs among you will be fearless in pioneering ideas that I have downloaded into their spirits. New businesses will sprout!…”
“…I, the Lord your God am saying, you have not seen anything yet, great things are in store for you!…”
“…No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has concealed what God has prepared for those who loved him. Your day has come Iloilo City. Your time to shine is here!…”

Last September 2014, after resigning from my first job, I received a prophetic word indicating that there are jobs waiting for me. However, it was clear that God Himself will choose for me which job should I be in. With this, I sent out application letters to a dozen of companies.

In the same month, it was followed up by a prophetic dream. In the dream, an old man said to me these very words, “You will have your job in October.” Amazingly, only one company responded to me and hired me by October 2014. It is DLinkers!

I was new in the company but I knew God had His purpose for placing me there. And God began to unfold His wonders here and there from time to time. During Christmas vacation, exactly on December 25, 2014, when I was about to eat my lunch, God started to nudge me as if I was to write something.

I sat down calmly and listened to God on what He had to say. He directed me to Ma’am Maricel as I listened to His words. I began typing the words and sent it to her via text message. A portion of the prophetic God released through me was “Your nights of crying were heard. And next year, the company will have a big thing!”

Little did I know, the administrative team of the company is already doing an understudy of having an online shopping website for Iloilo City. And there it goes, Unlideals was formed and officially a business last October 2015.

To my amazement, Ma’am Maricel remembered what I sent to her during Christmas vacation 2014. With that, she mentioned during our Christmas celebration last year at Tatoy’s, Villa that she really believed the word and Unlideals is a proof of it. Unlideals is the big thing in the company in the year 2015 based on the prophetic word.

So what is it now?

“…The entrepreneurs among you will be fearless in pioneering ideas that I have downloaded into their spirits. New businesses will sprout!…”

Unlideals big-logoUnlideals is the forerunning online shopping website of Iloilo City. It is the first ever online shopping website of the city legally and publicly launched. Its basic foundation is to pioneer a website that will feature and promote untapped treasures of the region such as resorts, restaurants, and other services and products available.

Its formation is also significant because it was officially formed last October 2015 right after the Feast of Tabernacle (Sukkot) dated September 24 – October 4, 2015. Feast of Tabernacle is the Jewish new year. Remember, God’s calendar is reflected on the time and seasons of the Jews, having Jesus our very savior was born Jew.

It was a fresh start for the company itself ordained from the mind of God!

“…Anointed forerunners that are enterprising and possessing the brilliance of an entrepreneur- they are my marketplace apostles!…”

Who dared to create a marketplace in the  online community just for Iloilo City and launched it to the public? Unlideals is a medium in bringing the best of Iloilo to the horizon of business industry. Follow and like them on Facebook

“…I, the Lord your God am saying, you have not seen anything yet, great things are in store for you!…”

Should we as Ilonggos be part of such tremendous move of God in and for the city? There are so many wonders Iloilo City can offer to the world. And it will need the support of every Ilonggo to bring the city back to the front lines.

“…No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has concealed what God has prepared for those who loved him. Your day has come Iloilo City. Your time to shine is here!…”

For so long, Manila and Cebu were the most recognized cities in the sphere of business and entertainment. Now, it is your time Iloilo!

Will Iloilo support and uplift its very own fruit from the Prophecy? Are Ilonggos aware that they are now facing a new phase of economic rise? Is the city now on the go to regain its lost glorious position in the country as the Queen City of the South just as it was back in the 19th century?

The fuzz about Cebu as the new Queen City of the South is just a media-driven recognition because of the booming business investment in Cebu.

“Prestigious title was given to Iloilo city because of the then increasing development in the industry and commerce by the Queen Regent of Spain, through a Royal Decree on Oct. 5, 1889 and technically it still remains to be such today. Iloilo City still beholds the “Queen City of the South” title for no formal declaration had been ever given to other places in the country, particularly to Cebu City. It was on Aug. 25, 1937 when Iloilo was formally inaugurated as a city after the Commonwealth Act No. 158 was signed into law on July 16, 1937. Said Department of Tourism Iloilo” – Philippines Today

“Armed with a dogged determination and unmatched energy to revive Iloilo’s place in history as the “Queen City of the South,” Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog has always believed that his beloved hometown can become a highly urbanized premier city by year 2015.” – Philippine Canadian Inquirer

” This is where Imperial Manila can learn a lot from the Queen City of the South (referring to Iloilo City)” – PhilStar Global

Will Iloilo support and uplift its very own fruit from the Prophecy?

Ilonggos, it is your time to bring Iloilo City back to the glorious destiny God has ordained!

Are you in or out?

IHOP To Celebrate Feast of Pentecost 2016

Pentecost 2016As a branch grafted to the vine…(Romans 11:17) Our Christian faith is rooted from the Jewish faith in God having our savior born as a Jew. Let us celebrate with them the Feast of Pentecost (Acts 2) when God poured His Spirit on the 120 people who waited on Him manifesting the blazing holy fire.

One modern incidence was when the Azusa Fire Revival broke out roughly in 1906 – 1915 in America and continued then on. On numerous occasions during the gatherings when Pastor Seymour encouraged the people to sing in the Spirit, there was a fire perceived coming up from the building. Mistakenly, people from the outside thought that the building was literally on fire and they called the fire department. LA fire department was called out several times to put out the fire until they reached the place and no fire was found. No smell of burning material was found. All they found was series of miracles happening in their midst. It was the fire of God’s Glory!

Last year’s celebration at IHOP was more of a wonder when God just moved in the Spirit of Prophecy and Baptism of Fire roll down. Literally, oil was just dripping all over the place from the ceiling to the walls, to the floor. First ever to happen in that place. No foul smell was perceived from the residue of the liquid. It was God’s oil of joy and gladness that lit up His fire in the house! The fiery hotness of God’s presence was all over. What can we say? Fire is really hot! And it needs the oil! Glory to God!

If God can do it then, He can do it now.

Join us this coming Sunday, June 12, 2016, 1:30PM at Iloilo House of Prayer (IHOP), Casa Plaza Building, Gen. Luna Street, Iloilo City.

Sailing the Waves

This short blog is to release what God has shown me during a short trip to Sand Bar Island, Concepcion, an island in the northern part of Iloilo, Philippines.

I was blessed to enjoy a short vacation with Dlinkers and Unlideals Family last May 13-14, 2016 at Concepcion, Iloilo. It was an amazing trip with so much fun. We had our water splashes on the first day at Sand Bar Island and a long exciting road trip the following morning.

But reality hit us back as we prepared to go back to Iloilo City after lunch on the second day. Nevertheless, it was a memorable trip worth cherishing. But nothing can be more exciting when God begins to talk along the fun moments of life and reveal Himself.

After a long fun under the sun at Sand Bar Island on the first day, God began to speak as we sailed our way back to the mainland. There was a familiar still small voice of God that spoke some truth.

Sitting in a pump boat, God began to shift my attention to other boats who are sailing along side with us. He started planting His thoughts in my spirit.

“Do you know why you cannot see any boat sailing to overtake another even if there are no guide just like a road line? Because they are not focused on where they are sailing. The person who steers the boat is fixed to reach the shore of the mainland. They are not distracted with the sizes and magnitude of waves hitting them back and forth. They are not focused to speed up to be the first boat to land on the shore lines. Rather, they are focused to finish their sail and safely get the passengers to the shore.”

I was sitting amazed receiving such revelation. And God continued His thoughts.

“Just like a person’s life, do not focus on the magnitude of hardships; the ups and downs. But fixed your eyes on the purposed I have ordained over you. There is a destiny that you have to see far off while you sail the waves of life. Sometimes, the enemy will try hard to distract your focus. But keep your eyes on the shore. One day, you will get your feet on the sands of your destiny and you will walk on them. Do not be intimidated with all other people in their own sails. Focus and finish your sail. Because I am with you as you sail the huge waves. Remember, how I walked My way through a storm just to be with My disciples? I am also making My way through the storms that hit you as you sail to your destiny. Focus and fix your eyes on Me and My purpose for you. You shall have your feet on the shore of your destiny.”

This was really an impact to all of us who are overwhelmed with huge waves of life. But God is with us! Keep the faith and sail our way through the waves til we reach the shore of our destiny.

God has his own way of walking through the stormy seas of our life to get to our situations. (Matthew 14:22-29)

Raise and Release

Blessed day every one! Welcome to our fourth and last blog session this month. Thank you for spending time with us at Fire Brand this month for a series of blog sessions. To those who missed the first three sessions, I really suggest that you read them to grasp the move of God in this season when we launched the blog series. The Days of David Series, Invitation to Greatness and Scandal in the Palace were messages to reveal what God has gifted us and what the enemy is targeting in his hell breaking distractions day by day. And  in Rest and Receive, God has revealed a very critical truth in receiving His revelation for our personal relationship with God. Now let us start for this blog session.

Raise and Release

There is a generational gap that God is trying to fill in with this generation. The arising generation must have a firm and good foundation of the truth to catch the anointing as God moves from one generation to another.

Generational gap is when there is no one from the generation receives and responds to the moving and anointing of God for a period of time.

It is a time when the voice and power of God is very rare. There is a silence of God’s voice in a generation. There is an absence of His power in their midst. It may either be in a nation, a region, a city or a local congregation.

For some time, God has been in the move of restoring what was lost and He was restoring the ministries of Jesus; the teaching, pastoral, evangelistic, prophetic and apostolic ministries He had in His time on earth.

Let us look at what happens when there is a generational gap from a biblical reference.

Exodus 1:6-8, 16, 22 (KJV)

And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

In the last part of Genesis, God spared the house of Jacob from the famine across the land by sending them to Egypt. The process was so painful for Joseph being the forerunner who underwent terrible persecutions and injustices.

But what the enemy meant for bad, God turned it for the good of His children.

Joseph and his family lived with such favor that a region in the land was given to them, the Goshen, which is the best part among the regions. This was a favor of God through an authority who submitted to the voice and power of God.

When an authority submits to God and to the person He is speaking through, the land is protected and prospered. We will see it along the way as we continue this blog session.

Joseph was a person who receives a revelation of the move of God and His anointing in his time. He was the person who spoke God’s intent to a land and a generation. He was a personality God has raised for such a time. And authority in the land submitted to the anointing and calling God has placed over Joseph’s life.

Now, where is the generational gap in this biblical reference?

When Joseph’s generation died, the left behind generation were just great in numbers but not in the anointing of God. There was a gap in the first chapter of Exodus. That gap is what happened to the generation after Joseph’s and before Moses’.

It takes a revelation from God to see this thing in these verses. The fruitfulness and increase of the children of Israel can only be in the physical aspect. It can be either in population or in the market economy. There was no significant move of God until a wicked king rose into power.

We can see in this scenario  that God was not able to find anyone who responded to carry the anointing and calling to lead the children of Israel after Joseph died. It affected the atmosphere in the leadership of the land.

Since, there was no one who was raised to speak forth God’s intent in the land just like Joseph, no one carried the legacy that he built in their midst. The legacy was lost. No one was able to pass on the legacy God did through Joseph. If they did, then no one was bold enough to declare it over the land. And God wanted to restore that legacy.

There was a lack of chroniclers in their time to continue and remind what God has done for them. This is where chronicles or channels that keep the legacies God made in the land can bless us.

This generational gap caused a negative shift in the leadership of the land. Because of the scarcity of God’s voice and power in the land, there came a king risen upon the throne who does not recognize Joseph and His God.

The lack of God’s wisdom and Spirit in the land will cause fear and troublesome decision in their leaders. And the growth of numbers alone is not that good when there is no growth of the manifestation and habitation of the Spirit of God in their midst.

Growth in numbers alone is not that good, when there is no growth of God manifestation and habitation.

This is why the next king after Joseph’s generation resorted to a decision of killing all the male children of Israel. He feared that these men will bring trouble someday. Actually, it was his insecurity being a leader that led him to such decision.

The struggle begins until God can find someone who will receive and respond to the anointing and calling He has for the children of Israel. This struggle remained up until God found Moses. God trained Moses in His own peculiar ways.

God had Moses to live in the palace to learn the ways of having authority and power. And He had him known to the children of Israel to learn the ways of compassion and mercy. God had him in both worlds.

What the enemy has plotted out to kill all the male children was reversed back to himself, when the first male born child of Egyptians also died after the warning that God released through Moses. Remember the covenant God had with Abraham. Blessing for a blessing. Curse for a curse.

We cannot afford to have this generational gap in our generation.

This is a calling to all the leading generation to prepare and hone today’s generation in God’s ways. The leaders of today have the heavier weight of training and raising a generation that will catch God’s move and continue what He has started.

When a generation is already leading God’s move, it is imperative to equip and train the generation beneath them on how to continue what God is doing in their time. Whether the leaders will respond to this calling or not, God will train people in His own ways in their secret places. But the generation in between the training years may suffer from the scarcity of God’s voice and power among them and its consequences.

When the leaders, especially those who are in the ministries of Jesus (the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral and teaching) decide to train the young ones, they must secure to train them in five major areas.

5 Areas For A leadership training

1) Availability

The succeeding generation must grasp the idea of pursuing God in their time and priorities. God cannot use someone who is not present physically, mentally, and spiritually. He cannot use someone who is absent.

2) Authenticity

This generation should know how to come to God and inquire for something they need to know. It should be someone who does not just parrot someone’s revelation or statement plainly for the purpose of having something to speak of. When one has nothing to speak about, then do not speak until God says so.

Be authentic on what we speak of. If we are restating what another has spoken about or received from God, make sure to give the authorship to the one who first hand spoke about or received it.

3) Audacity

This generation must know how to relay and convey God’s intent without misrepresenting God’s image and nature. There are different avenues to speak out what God has revealed to us. It may be spoken spontaneously, written in a book or chronicled though a paper or a technology-driven equipment such as social media. It can also be in dances, music or other branches of art that defines God and His divine nature.

4) Attitude

This is one of the most difficult part to impart on a generation. This generation must mature in the divine image and likeness of Christ. Without having this, we can easily misrepresent God to the world. Instead of bringing them to God, we begin to draw them away from Him.

5) Accountability

Also, this is very difficult to develop in a generation. When God has given us a platform or an opportunity to influence people, we must have people who can check us out to guide and train us in God’s ways of influence or impartation.

This areas is creating so much drifts in this generation. When the trainee does not like the trainer, he gets out of the training even if God designed it that way. Also, when the trainer is threatened by the arising trainee, leadership insecurity is dividing them.

We all have to be accountable on someone who is also accountable to God. This is commonly applied to mentoring. However, when we do not have a mentor, then we directly be just accountable to God. Any other way will do as long as God becomes the grand jury.

This is the time where leadership people must begin to train this generation. God cannot release a person unless he is fully equipped. God is seeking a generation who is fully equipped to partner with the Holy Spirit in this end time movement.

It is time to raise and soon release people to their giftings and callings!

There is a generation arising who must be trained, equipped and released to glory of God.

ARISE!

May God bless us all with what He has done and revealed throughout this blog series ARISE! this May 2016. I would like to thank everyone who participated and supported these blog sessions! God shall supersede us all with great surprises ahead…
