Are you loved? Do you long for love? Are we praying that someone will express what love is? A man in the bible who was known as the man greatly loved and how he makes something out of that love. Discover our real identity in this session.
10 And behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. 11 And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for now I have been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling. 12 Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
In Daniel’s life, as he was in his journey as one full of prophetic visions, an angel was sent to tell him something that is the very foundation of our faith in God. That we are loved. Daniel was a man GREATLY LOVED.
And a powerful promise was said to him.
Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
Notice that in those times, an angel was sent to reveal the love of God to humanity. But in our generation, it was God’s only Son, the darling of heaven, who was sent to express the great love of God. Meditate this statement “I am greatly loved!”
But this truth is useless unless we understand it. How can we love God unless we know we are loved and how much we are loved? Love then is followed with obedience. And still the same principle applies. We cannot obey unless we understand what to do. Obedience is coupled with authority and favor. See the result and the power of our declarations, in prayers and intercessions. How? By setting our hearts to understand and humbled before God.
Verse 12 …set your heart to understand and humbled before God…
Thus, let us ask for God’s anointing of love and understanding to capture and lead our heart on how God moves. This will stabilize how we obey and love God.
Then this is the powerful promise of God. “YOUR WORDS HAVE BEEN HEARD”… Our words, in thoughts and in declarations shall have favor in the eyes of God. He will hear them and will grant them. Oh! Amazing God! How great is God? Discover that in how we understand Him; His ways and thoughts!
Be a man greatly loved!
