Grace: Life In Supernatural Glory

Many of us are asking on the way to live a life. Many are aspiring to have a better life, even the best one. But how do we live this life? How do we find the glory in the life we are living? Discover the power in Grace and the life in the Supernatural Glory of God.

Living in the Glory of God was the original design of life. Adam and Eve have lived in the Glory of God. But in those times, it was still natural. They talked with the Spirit of God face to face. God showed to them His glory just like the sun lights up the earth. The trees bear fruit every day. There was food for everyday living. There was no season of scarcity, hunger and thirst, even sorrow and pain. Whatever you ask God has given. This is the kind of life God has for us! Perfect life! It’s all natural! Don’t you want this life?

However, this kind of life becomes supernatural now because today we are more acquainted with who we are after the creations were corrupted by sin than who we were before the first sin was committed. And because of the sin of disobedience and all that went with it, we have fallen short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

In this set up, God’s Grace is given. He has shown us how to gain back this kind of life. And that is through the Son.

Romans 3:24-26
24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

And as we have studied that Jesus the embodiment of God’s grace, He is also the exact image of God’s glory. He has lived under the clouds of glory of God in His years as a man. The way Adam and Eve lived under God’s glory was not seen by humanity because they were the first man and woman on earth. That is why one of Jesus’ purposes on living as man here on earth is to show the humanity how it is to live under the glory of God.

Hebrews 1:3
He is the radiance of the glory of God…

From the book of Genesis, God’s grace and glory began dwelling with the man and woman. However, when sin corrupted the creations, the creations were separated from the glory of God. But the grace was still with them. Grace has been with the creations; from the beginning up to now. Are we grateful for this?

Genesis 3:21
21 And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

This is a demonstration of grace. Adam and Eve did not deserve to be clothed with skins. Imagine this that God killed an animal to have that skin even though Adam and Eve disobeyed Him. That is grace! It is giving something to someone who does not deserve.

But take note, this grace is not cheap the way the world understand and use it. As they said, we can leave our husband or wife because grace covers them. And we can lie and steal because grace covers us. Oh! Do not be deceived! That is not how this grace works. That is not Jesus! Jesus gave himself that we might not continue to live sinning. We are warned not to fall this time in His Grace for there are no other ways to gain back the original design of our life which is to live in the Glory of God. Not by the laws in the stones nor the deeds of man can bring us back to His glory.

Hebrews 4:1
Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.

Then what do we have to do?

John 11:40-42

…Did not I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?…I knew that you (Father) hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me.

  1. We have to believe in Jesus. Let us couple the gospel with faith. For by faith, we shall receive. And grace is freely given. But it’s useless and won’t help us anyhow if we won’t accept it ourselves. By faith! A gift cannot be opened and utilized even if it is freely given unless it is received and owned by the recipient of the gift. And receiving requires faith!

Hebrews 12:15

See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter roots grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

  1. If we are to go back to the original life God has for us in the Garden of Eden, we are also to go back to our past and settle every issue and negative emotion. And we should up root every foothold of the sin; the rejections, pains, hurts in our past. Receive the forgiveness and forgive to move on. Let us not forget our past because it is the past that creates the present and affects the future. But God wants to heal our past by forgiveness that we may surrender those negative emotions and move on from the pains and hurts. And God will process that every day, because every day is a day of healing, a day of forgiveness and a day of repentance. Amazing!!!

And because this kind of life was lost long before we were born, He has given Jesus to portray it; life living in God’s glory. The knowledge of who Jesus is and what Jesus did is a great promise to enter this kind of life. And with Jesus, great promises were given and are being fulfilled. These promises are intended to take us out from the world of sin.

2 Peter 1:3-4
3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to[c] his own glory and excellence,[d] 4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

John 14:12-14
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me[e] anything in my name, I will do it.

Even Jesus said that with faith, every thing that He did and how He lived can also happen in our life. Because as He went to the Father, it is up to us so that the world may see the glory of God. Therefore let us secure ourselves everyday that we are lifted up by the Grace to reach the Supernatural Glory of God in our lives. Don’t you desire to have this kind of life that Adam and Eve once had in the Garden of Eden? Accept now the Grace of God to regain and relive the original life God has for us. For as long as the Grace is available, do not waste it. For time will come, Grace shall be ceased when the day of great terror for judgment has come.
