Blessed day every one! Thank you for following us in this series. To anyone who missed to read the first and second blog sessions, I encourage you to read them. The Days of David Series, Invitation to Great and Scandal in the Palace were messages to reveal what God has gifted us and what the enemy is targeting in his hell breaking distractions day by day. We are now on our third blog session. Let’s start!
As a spiritual people, we don’t just live by the physical world. Growing up, we learn to understand the physical realm. But we also have to understand the spirit realm. And many of us live on a split world view or mentality. We forget to deal with the spirit realm. But how do we deal with it anyway?
It is through a revelation; a divine revelation from our Heavenly Father. I discussed deeper about the side of the Father as the Great Revelator in our ebook, Explosion of Glory (you can download it for free).
Today, we will discuss about the release of God’s revelation to us and how we receive it. We know that God is diversified in nature. We can’t just put Him and His processes in just one box. His beauty comes out much with wonder in the setup of diversity. However, in this discussion, let us look at this one in a macro view.
The first thing we have to do as we desire to receive a revelation from God is to just rest. We begin to quiet ourselves away from the noise of this world. We find a secret place in His presence where strength and endurance is being restored. It is where peace and joy is imparted. We have to find rest in Him.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! – Psalm 46:10
As we see in this verse, the knowledge of God comes after being still. Still is substantiated as a state of worry-free, calmness and serenity. We empty ourselves from the cares of this world. We move into the position of faith. As we begin to detox ourselves, we give space for God to fill us with His revelation.
We don’t labor hard to get a revelation from God. Why? It is part of the loving relationship we have with Him as Jesus calls us His friends in the beloved. What Jesus received from the Father, He reveals it to us. He makes it known to us.
No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. – John 15:15
For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. – 1 Corinthians 2:16
The enemy can also give a revelation. Of course, it is not divine in nature. When Eve was tempted by the serpent in the Garden of Eden, the serpent gave a revelation.
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” – Genesis 3:4 – 5
It was confirmed by God Himself in verse 22 of the same chapter.
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever” – Genesis 3:22
What the enemy meant for bad, God turned it around to make beauty out of ashes. It fulfilled what He prophesied during creation.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” – Genesis 1:26
This is why we have to test the revelation we receive to prevent any damage at all.
We can draw a whole lot more, but what was mentioned above are the basic guidelines in testing any revelation we receive. We must train ourselves to receive from God. Tap into His Spirit.
Looking back in Psalm 46:10, exalting God among the nations all over the earth comes after the state of stillness and the knowledge of Him. As we begin to rest and receive from God, we are being empowered to witness and declare the Lordship of our God among the nation! We begin to have an authentic declaration where both the spirit and physical realm align to accommodate what is being declared!

Many times in the Bible, there are changes and circumstances that were influenced and even halted by forces. Many will see it only from the natural eyes. But beyond what seems to be the source is a more complex and deep influencing factor mentioned in the Book of Ephesians.
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
We, as a people of a God who moves beyond the natural senses of man, should know how to deal with this. When God said in Isaiah that His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways [1] , He was pointing out the limitation that a human mind can contain for the moment in time. But when we were born again under the influence of the Spirit of God, we became the partaker of God’s divine nature which includes His mind as revealed in Christ’s ministrations during his humanity. From here, as Paul said in the first Book of Corinthians, we have the mind of Christ [2].
Because we are a tripartite being [3], we become the contact point of the spiritual realm and natural realm [4]. And we have to live not only by the interactions within the natural realm, but ultimately the spiritual realm. There are parallel effects happening in between these realms as presented in the Book of Matthew about binding and loosing [5]. And understanding these realms and everything in between will require God’s gift of revelation. It is when God reveals this beyond human mind can handle that we gain full understanding on what is happening in a situation. Understanding these realms is actually very crucial for us to bring and impose change and revival in a nation, church, family and personal life. It is because the natural realm, as seen mostly in the Bible, is dominated by the principles imposed in the spiritual realm. And these principles ultimately is followed across in between these realms. These principles and precepts are actually God’s way of revealing our safe zones.
Now, when we see interaction in these realms, we either apply these principles or not. And by this, there is a divine network being drawn across ourselves. It is because when principles and precepts are applied, we are aligning ourselves to a divine network.
It is a group of people aligned having the same purpose, position and portion. See Fire Brand’s first eBook, Explosion of Glory for a broader discussion. Within this network, God moves strongly in impartation. His revelation spreads across the group.
This is important because for a person especially those who are in position of influence, a divine network will somehow define the spiritual covering. A person will be defined by the company he is in because of the spiritual and natural influences.
It is a dominant spirit taking full control in influencing a finite and visible being. Now Paul exhorted that every man should be under the headship of Christ as Christ to God. It is very difficult to say that one’s covering is Christ but the spirit’s manifestation is otherwise as presented in Psalm 91.
Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
A person abides where he dwells. The manifestation will define the source of ministration.
This is why we have to be very careful especially those who are influential in the natural sense such as politician, minister, celebrity and public figure. Whoever goes with a person will somehow affect the impartation and spiritual covering unto the influence carried in his personality. For human senses, the influential spirit will be very subtle until its manifestation is revealed in the natural. That is why we have to look beyond the natural and see the spiritual influences.
This is very important to every leader of every mountain of society (sphere of society). The society is now facing all kinds of shifts in the leadership. Now, we have to be aware of this. We have been releasing articles about shifts and other prophetic leaders around the globe are into this big change.
Let us look at Joseph and what his influence brought to Pharaoh and to all Egyptians in Genesis 41. I believe every Bible believing Christian knows the run of this biblical account.
When Pharaoh had a dream in a series, it disturbed him and his senses and looked for someone to interpret the dream. And no one in the land, no magician and sorcerer can give an accurate interpretation until he found Joseph. Joseph gave his interpretation which was an economic shift about to hit the land. Pharaoh found it very convincing and convicting that he recognized the divine covering of Joseph [7]. Pharaoh chose to find other sources more than those who are already in his courts. He submitted to what God revealed to Joseph and that gave him the information to what is coming under his watch. Recession will be a negative impact on the governance. God will reveal information that will be necessary for a leader to act upon.
Because Pharaoh submitted to what God revealed to Joseph, as he follows what was spoken, he had a preventive action imposed in the land. Now, we can see here that influences over a person with position such as Pharaoh is very important in leadership. And because Pharaoh had Joseph as his influencing factor being a voice he personally chose to speak unto his life, position and decision, he was under the spiritual covering of Joseph as Joseph is under the Spirit of God. As he had some preventive measures implemented in the land, they were protected when the famine finally hits them.
As famine hits all other region, Egypt was very secured that they began to sell goods and crops to other inhabitants. This paved a way for prosperity to enter the land as they trade what they have for the survival of other regions. Prosperity is all over Egypt while turmoil and famine around them. All because the Pharaoh is under a divine spiritual covering by virtue of Joseph’s presence.
Joshua will be used to lead everyone else to promise land of God. And God will be using prophetic voices around Joshua to cover him in the spiritual battle ahead, just like Joseph to Pharaoh.
God will release leaders who will move under the righteousness and truth. It is up to us how we can recognize them and their influencers. Because once these leaders are placed on the right positions, we will see the growing manifestation of the Spirit of God.
